What is the real story?

A few weeks ago I contacted discovery about my premiums to see if anything could be done to reduce them. I was told this is not possible. I received a message on my Facebook Messenger from Shavan Rattay who claims to be working for Discovery as a financial advisor. He messaged me from his personal Facebook profile to my personal Facebook profile, THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. In addition, his spelling and grammar are terrible like most of the Discovery staff.

If the business has told me nothing can be done then why are the staff communicating with me via unofficial channels saying something different? Is this person actually on your payroll or are you selling my personal details to third parties? If there is a way to reduce the premiums then why lie about this?
