What is the point of having a medical aid??

After my previous complaint on 19 November 2019, this matter has still not be resolved.

I was in a car accident on 5 September 2019, broke 2 ribs and injured my back badly. Due to incorrect claim by Sunninghill hospital, Discovery refused to pay the medical bills. Even after this was rectified, it has still not been paid.

Discovery is making it so difficult to pay the bills, that it is almost impossible for the claims to be paid.

These bills have since been handed over due to no payment.

In this entire process, Discovery was not helpful at all in trying to fix the original claim. What is the point of having a medical aid?
