What is the best medical aid after Discovery Health? I need to stop my membership with them

I underwent antenatal care and blood tests without activating the pregnancy benefit with Discovery Health. I did not know I had to activate it before meeting the doctor, since that doctor was on the gynaecologist list. Now, Discovery Health is refusing to cover these antenatal care and blood tests and has decided to use all my 2025 medical savings for this. They advised that I should have notified them 30 days after I did them. Now my Medical savings for 2025 are used up. I cannot even get pills or any GP visits for dependents. My son has broken his legs, and I cannot even get help to pay for a scan and medicine. So I am wondering why I am even paying for the medical aid? I am paying a total of R3656 for medical aid, for me and my dependent, every month, but I am unable to get assistance for the whole of the year because of antenatal care and blood tests. This is ridiculous. Think twice before you sign a membership with Discovery Health. They are a big ****.
