What happened to my money?

I was with DISCOVERY MEDICAL AID for about 4/5 years when I was still working for my previous employer.

When I resigned late in 2019, I also cancelled my medical aid contract with Discovery.

February/March 2020 I received communication from Discovery that I need to submit my banking details - I also remember that the plan I had with them had a “savings pocket account”.

I failed to do that sooner, when I was in a position to submit the claim forms in August/September 2020 (which I submitted several times via email)…there was also a company that was constantly calling me wanting to submit the claim forms on my behalf (very shady) and wondered how they got my contact details?!

Until to date, I haven’t received the funds were left in my then pocket account.

Reason for this review is that I’m not in a position and have decided to have medical aid again - Discovery was the first one to come into my mind then I remembered that they still OWE me and why would I give them business AGAIN!

As I continue to search for a better & trustable medical aid company.
