What do you actually cover?

I am really confused about how you cover my claims...

My boyfriend doesn't have a savings option, but is able to go to dentists and Dr's. (obviously in his network) at no cost. Yet when I go to a dentist /dr it comes out of my medical aid savings... Why is this? I recently have had a number of dental procedures (Root Canal), and as this isn't considered a \beauty procedure"like tooth whitening"

Hello ST3F,

Thank you for your comment.

I looked into your concerns and discussed that your chosen plan type has a Medical Savings Account (MSA) component that we use to pay your out-of-hospital claims such as dentistry. The plan your partner is currently on has a different benefit structure and we cannot compare the two in this instance. You are welcome to discuss your plan options with your Financial Advisor for guidance on a plan that best suits your medical needs.

Thank you for allowing me to clarify your concerns. Please feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.

Regards
Rishana
