What constitutes an emergency for Discovery?

I was on Universal Compcare, and l moved to Discovery, without a break in medical aid. I do not know why l was put on a 3 months waiting period, and told that I'm only covered for emergency for in that 3 months. I have an emergency now, my son fell and bumped his ear, face is swollen and Discovery doesnt consider it an emergency 😢. They wont pay for the doctor or for any help. How does this medical aid work kanti???
