What are we waiting for?

2024-01-18 17:40 My mother has been diagnosed with Cellulitis and the doctor prescribed a course of intravenous antibiotics and recommend she be admitted to hospital. Discovery, her medical aid, preferred that she be treated at home under their Discovery Home Care scheme instead off having her admitted. Had she been admitted I guess that treatment could have started within hours. As it is now we are still waiting for them to approve the home care after many hours of waiting. It is now after hours and not a word from Discovery. They were notified about the case before 12 noon today. Hopefully my mother will get treatment tomorrow.
