Warning to Discovery Health Members

<p>Went to a specialist Rheumatologist today. Highly specialized very professional lady. Her worth to Discovery R500.00 same as a GP. My copayment R1,100.00 on a R 1,700.00 bill. Paying Exorbiant fees a month so I can pay two thirds of the bill really? This is why our specialists are leaving South Africa. Any one checked Dicoveries profits and larnie buildings and employee benefits at the members expense ? So we suffer so they can provide hairdressers etc to their staff. No wonder they are a preferred employee . Maybe they should afford their doctors and members better benefits for what they are receiving . Maybe they need some healthy completion in the market. I get told I should have done an inhospital procedure then everything would have been covered how does that make any freakin financial sense for Discovery. I am shocked both myself as a member and for the doctors shame on Discovery. </p>
