Waiting Period
Hi Danita<br> <br> No the information provided did not clarify the matter for me.<br> <br> The consultant told me that my wife and son have a waiting period of three months because the medical aid they came from is PROFMED and PROFMED is a closed group. My wife and son has been on a medical aid their whole lives. They were on discovery before they went to Profmed. What's the risk here? <br> <br> We will contact PROFMED(who they should never of left) today and if they are willing to take them back I will take them off Discovery with immediate effect. <br> I'm not willing to pay R8000 a month to a medical aid who doesn't even consider to look into my case.<br> As soon as we have a answer from Profmed I will revert back so that we can start the necessary paperwork to get them back on Profmed.<br> <br> Regards <br> Eduan
