Very sneaky service at Discovery Health

Discovery Health says they pay for all costs of being hospitalised from the scheme. But besides their authorisation, they used my medical savings account (day-to-day savings) to pay for costs incurred while being hospitalised. As is that is not weird enough, for the same health practitioner and for the same procedure, Discovery Health charges one statement from my medical savings and the other from the scheme.

Contrary to Discovery Health saying they attend to queries within 2-3 working days, sad to say I sent a query last (29th July 2020) to Discovery claims and I haven't had any feedback in almost a week.

I checked with the hospital on the same query and they confirmed that costs of being in hospital should have been paid from the scheme and not my MSA, having followed their prescribed authorisation procedure. This is also in line with the information given on Discovery Health relating to being admitted in hospital. But I am not getting any reply and the costs taken from MSA have not been returned, as per the advice from the hospital hearing this query.

It is very unfair that Discovery Health displays such ignorance to their members after contributing for medical aid for years without defaulting.
