Very Frustrate

I’m a member of the Discovery Medical Aid seen 2001 till now (Classic Comprehensive Plan) , my husband is my dependent, in 2016 he has cancer (mesothelioma) went under chemotherapy , scan and PET-SCAN as with the scan the doctor cannot see much of the cancer , after the PET-SCAN show not much of the cancer , he was lucky ,his on remission but every year for 5 years the oncologist say he must go a PET-SCAN and this year he has been declined.? Why a none oncologist doctor ( do not want to enclosed her name yet) at the Head of Discovery Care said that is not enough evidence for a PET-SCAN after the request from the Oncologist ??? Classic Comprehensive plan is unlimited for Scan/PET-SCAN and is where my frustration is, I pay a lot for comphrehensif services, that this Dr do not even know my Husband nor his file and she is not an Oncologist Doctor and go against him ? First time that I have this problem with Discovery seen 2001, wonder because they build a HUGE building in Sandton! Very frustrate , yes we can appeal against the decision but this will cost money on top off it . Facing a Huge Building with administratif incompetence.
