Very dissapointed as a new member to this medical aid
<p>I am very disapointed. I am a new member at this medical aid as everyone is talking about how good Discovery Health is. I already paid 3 premiums and when i left my previous medical aid They said there is a 3 month waiting period as soon as they receive my 3rd premium my waiting period is over and I will be covered. My little one is very sick and are in need of medication I dont have that cash as I pay R4004.00 each month on a medical aid that I still can not claim for? Really this is not NICE......</p>

Our records confirm that prior to acceptance of your policy, you were notified of the 3 month general waiting period, and that it is active 3 months from the start date of your membership, and not determined by the number of premiums you have paid.
