#VaccineReadySa … Yes, I did it! I am vaccinated … I got the sms on Wednesday afternoon, to be at Discovery between 2pm and 4pm on Friday … We got there about 3pm and at 5pm I got my jab … 2 Hours wait sounds crazy, but in all honesty, it actually went rather quick, considering the number of folk there … The organisation of the entire procedure was very well done … The staff working the vaccine initiative were all fabulous and clearly well trained, from the first guy we encountered while still in the car in a queue, to the last person who oversaw the ‘cool down’ area … I was told that I will get an sms for the second jab and I was given a “Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card” … All in all, it was a pleasant experience, with amazing staff who were on their feet since 7am and would still be there another 5 hours after I left … After such a long day with dealing with old people – these people remained friendly, upbeat and professional … Now, more than 24hours later, I feel fabulous – no after effects at all …
