utterly disappointed and saddened

I am a very disappointed client of discovery medical aid.i have been a client going on for almost 5 years and never had anything to complain about till now. 2 years ago i was involved in an accident at work and was on iod until now and the doctor who was treating me picked up that i have nerve damage and have been on medication for over a year and will have to continue taking those medications for what could be the rest of my life. I had documents sent to me by discovery to get my doctor to fill out as chronic as this could be a life long treatment and sadly which was totally disappointing was that the medical aid stated that it has been declined as it is not a chronic ailment and that it is not on their list. But if i understand chronic ot means something which is life long treatment whih is my case exactly. I am not on a lower plan but yet it is still not covered. So now that means that i must pay a high premium and still pay for my medication? I am now forced to try to get a lower plan so that i can get the medication i need as now i am permanently disabbled and not working. Another frustrating thing is that i was in contact with a broker of discovery and have been asking to meet as now my case is closed on iod and i need to change my plan urgently as so that i can afford or at least try to get the medication i need and i am the sole bread winner of my family. I am utterly disappointed with the service and understanding of discovery in which they can not and will not assist me when i truly need it. I honestly did not want to go this route but i feel i should warn people that this company claims to have our best intrests at heart but when it comes down to it you do not matter as well as your ailments and situation.
