Useless Medical Aid

I have been a member of Discovery Health for 10+ years and has never missed a contribution. My savings account has now reached R44,000 which I requested to be paid out. The only way for that to happen is if I move to a plan without a savings. Further to that I have asked Discovery if I can come to their offices in Sandton to the discuss the options to make sure that I make the correct decision. THIS WAS DECLINED. Further to that I had to endure some difficulties with Discovery such as receiving an incorrect tax certificate and Discovery refusing to correct it. Not included on this certificate were medical expenses of R20 000 that I paid myself that Discovery declined. The operation that I paid for forced me not to be able to go to gym for a few months which ultimately ended up that I didn't reach my 36 events and losing the gym benefit (free at the time). Discovery's said that I could of gone to gym although my doctor advised me not to.

If Discovery is unwilling to assist me then my decision is simple. I will take away my Medical Aid and Life Insurance policy from them.
