useless medical aid

I have a discovery medical aid , my boy was born on the 12 august 2013 and today I just received an email from the attorneys stating that I owe them 2450.00 and now it accumulated the interest of 1000, I received a mail from Groenewald lubbe attorneys , so why didn't I receive a call from the doctor stating that and why didn't I receive a post coming from discovery as my medical aid to state that they didn't pay it so after 3 years now I have to pay that account , what is the use of having discovery card if you are going to have to deal with things like this ,why am I paying discovery if they do this and now who must pay that amount now , my medical aid failed me as a customer ,. I am not satisfied ,why must I keep on being surprised every time .I am taking this to consumer affairs and also included my lawyers that's a reap off , why wait for 3 years and now I am being charged interest and told that my medical aid didn't pay and now DRS VAN RENSBURG AND PARTNERS handed it over to the lawyers without my consent , they didn't even contact me nothing was done .
