Even giving 1 star is too generous for the frustration and lack of human intervention in this instance. When did the policy change that if you moved from one medical aid to another - your savings is transferred? Was your members notified to this change in policy? If so, how were they notified? If not, why did Discovery not think that it was important enough to make this known to their members. Now you sit in your ivory tower and just spew out the 'LAW', that we your customers now need to abide by. The change of medical aid from one employer to another was done voluntarily - when employment was changed. First, you keep the funds in your coffers for 6 months..................why 6 months, its unbeknown to me. Then when I make a follow up as to where the funds are, it is mentioned in a matter of fact way by the agent - 'oh,the funds was transferred to your new medical aid'. Was this fact every addressed to me in writing in the 6 months waiting period, so that I am aware of this..................NO!! Did I ever receive an email from yourselves regarding and forcing an acknowledgement........NO!! But now I need to play this game by your rules................yet it is 100% MY MONEY!! What is it with your people, too arrogant to communicate with your paying customers? To much effort to communicate effectively with the people that pays to keep you in the ivory tower? I expect a response in this regards and I am very frustrated and unhappy with your lack of empathy.
