Unhappy with waiting period

I moved from my husbands medical aid La health discovery to join my companies medical aid which is also discovery, I have been honest on the application and guess what I am on 3 mnth waiting period, I am also told that LA health is only administerd by discovery thus its also one of the reasons I am on a waiting period. I had to fight last week to get my asthma pump which is chronic and now I am suffering with my hernia and gerd as they will not pay for the medication, I can also not go see my Doctors, now R400 for medication and about R400 for the doctor? but they are paid in advance, I am told that the waiting period cannot be wavered now I ask myself must one suffer so much before discovery sees the need. The consultant told me I can go back on my husbands medical aid as the waiting period cannot be lifted. I am furious as it seems that health does not come first but suffering with discovery.
