Unfair Refusal to Pay from Benefit

I confirmed that I was pregnant on 26 October 2020 with my gynecologist and on 27 October 2020 I registered my pregnancy with Discovery to activate the maternity benefit. I did not want to register prior to confirming with my doctor, due to my age. Discovery now refuses to pay for my doctor's consult out of the maternity benefit as I did not register on the exact day the I confirmed with the doctor (note that I registered the very next day as soon I had in fact confirmed my pregnancy). I did not want to register prior to the doctor's visit as it would have been a total waste if the doctor had not confirmed the pregnancy. I have spoken to a call center consultant, a credit specialist (I don't know why I was put through to a credit specialist) and a client services manager, all of whom are absolutely unwilling to motivate for any kind of exception to be made, with the call center consultant saying to me that I waited an entire day to register my pregnancy. I do not believe that an unreasonable amount of time lapsed from the time that I confirmed my pregnancy to the time that I registered for the benefit and submitted my claim. I also do not believe that Discovery Health's computer systems are so rigid that exceptions cannot be motivated for or made. I am being penalised for wanting to confirm my pregnancy prior to activating the maternity benefit which is totally unfair and unacceptable. Please can someone contact me with a way forward to resolve this matter. Thank you.
