Unfair payments made from MSA

Hope this message finds you well. I am not happy with the scheme. With regards to the MSA. I would like to know why MSA of members are being used to pay for take home medication when you were hospitalised. With all other medical aids these still fall under the benefits of hospitalisation. With discovery these are taken from your MSA. Of which in the end of the day with such expensive medications members will never have any MSA left anymore and funds for daily use to doctors will be depleted soon.

I feel that this is a **** from your fund. Also the fact that doctors and specialists not on your service or books who ask more than medical rate of which a member are paying cash for and then claim are being paid from the MSA.

The scheme should relook this as soon as possible.

Kindly note that I feel that this is unfair and will so advise the ombudsman of this in order for the medical aid boards to relook into and review.

If this monies were incorrectly taken from the MSA kindly rectify and advise when done.

This is one of the reasons in the past I have cancelled the medical aid due to unfairness towards members.
