Unfair handling
Sunday the 19/09/2021 I were rushed by my wife to the clinic due to that I could not urinate and had uncontrollable pain on my right hand side. The doctor arranged the ambulance to take me immediately to Cape Town Mediclinic. On my arrival at Mediclinic they have done a swop for covid and were kept in the emergency room for the results. The doctor arrived and he told me that they are struggling to find a bed in the ward, NO BEDS AVAILABLE IN WARD, he even tried to get hold of another doctor at another hospital, I were supposed to be admitted to hospital and not lying in the emergency room the hole night. They send me home due to NO BEDS AVAILABLE IN HOSPITAL. I went twice for x-rays and seen the doctor twice, I had to pay for accommodation in Cape Town for 3 nights. This case was supposed to be handled as an emergency admission to hospital and not Me paying from my pocket. There are two x-rays accounts, two Doctor account and the mediclinic account outstanding that needs to be settled. The account of the ambulance was settled. I'm still struggling with the medical aid to settle the other accounts. There is now walk-in agencies in the Northern Cape, its a never-ending struggle to settle this matter through the phone. Dates: 19/09/2021 - 22/09/2021.
