Unacceptable
Unacceptable

I had a huge problem getting my husband admitted in hospital a while back for emergency illness. Eventually after many calls and many conversations they gave the
auth code to the hospital. Now 2 weeks later we are receiving letters from Discovery that we are liable for the doctors accounts at hospital?????? If your medical aid covers hospitals how is it that we are now liable for the
bills? like the doctor and the Radiologist? All of this was done while admitted to the hospital? I have never in my life had so many problems with a medical aid before, and the worst thing is this is the most expensive medical aid we ever had, it costs more than our house and car together. Getting hold of them is totally impossible since you need to listen to computerized voices and music until someone that is human answers the phone on the other side, for that to happen you need to hold on for about an half an hour and R50 airtime down the drain.
