*****ulent and Grandstanding from Discovery Health

Discovery Health is a *****ulent bureaucracy. They have without communication taken double my premium. I have sent many emails to have this situation reversed. After holding on the call centre number for nearly 6 hours - someone then answers. They tell me that without consent they put me on the highest income bracket and the premium now doubled in the key care plan. No email was sent from them notifying of the decision. This medical aid is for my disable brother in law who collects a state disability grant. Now I must provide them with 3 months bank statements and a letter from Sassa and a letter from SARS stating is not employed. He has received a disability grant for all his life and never paid taxes because of the situation. Nor had a bank account. All this information was given to them when he originally became a member in 2015.This is grossly unfair and *****ulent. This organisation thinks that they are a law upon themselves. Do not do business with Discovery Health. Stay away as they are grossly ***********. Now I must cancel this medical aid and I am penalised with an additional months inflated premium. This company is a bunch of ******* - how disappointing that a large organisation can do this to the poorest and disable.
