Trying to be added on as a dependent

To have to come back here again is a joke!

I have been trying for months to be added as a dependent onto my partners medical aid. I CANCELLED my medical aid because I was told to and now we’re sitting in May and still nothing has been done. I was told I had been added and to send the signed forms back which I had sent on the 23rd of March *** only 8 days after the email had been sent to me and well within the 30 day allowance.I then called in a few days/weeks later to check if I had been added because I still wasn’t listed as a dependent on the app and I was told yes. Please go back and find that call! Therefore I left it and carried on with life. Fast forward to APRIL I went to see a Dr only to be told I’m not a dependent and had to pay cash for my Drs appointment. I then called on the Saturday and spoke to a lovely lady who was more than helpful, she called me on the Monday to help but I was cut off and when I called through I went to a lady by the name of boitemelo (apologies if I’ve spelt that wrong) who was eager to assist but I had been on hold for over 30 mins and she didn’t bother to call me back when the call cut and I had no way of getting back through to her, she still hasn’t bothered to call me back and she has my email & cell number so there’s no excuses. The lady I had spoken to on Saturday called again to try and help me. I have still heard absolutely NOTHING!

When speaking to Boitemelo I was told that the form had a problem opening and that I had to restart the whole process which I will NOT be doing!!! I called to check and no one told me the document didn’t open! Also if the document didn’t open why didn’t anyone bother to come back and tell me this?

I’m disgusted in Discovery health’s service. My house, all 4 cars, and bank account as well as medical aid is all with discovery and if this is not sorted out I will be cancelling EVERY SINGLE POLICY!
