Travel Insurance ????

Prior to us going overseas we requested the so called \Travel Insurance\" cover from Discovery. Whilst overseas my husband landed up in the emergency room during the early hours of the morning. We handed all the travel insurance documents into the hospital as proof of cover and were told they would take it from here. <br> <br> Then in February this year we got an account from the hospital. I then sent in the bill with the claim form to Discovery. But after all these follow ups and references numbers allocated to me and explaining to them the urgency of this matter, NOT ONE of the agents told me that we were to pay the claim ourselves as they don't pay overseas hospitals, I was only told this today!!!!. So what is the use of this so called Travel Insurance that when you need to claim they have a thousand excuses. And then only after a month of following up and talking to numerous people, you are told they don't pay the providers.<br> <br> Where is the communication with the client and how are these call centre agents trained when NOONE gives you the correct information and procedures. <br> o ***<br> o ***<br> o ***<br> o ***<br> o ***<br> o ***"
