Tired Of Their Process

<p>My wife joined a hospital plan from discovery 2 months ago. on Sunday she felt ill has was taken to Hospital. The trauma doctor wanted to admit her, however the hospital could not get authorisation from discovery. the matter was reffered to the Standards Dept. My doctor has filled out the documents that discovery requested however ther turn around time is 8 - 16 working hours. So in a medical emergency that is not a pre existing condition a member of Discovery health needs to wait until they make a decision so that she can be attended to in hospital. IF IT IS NOT A PRE EXISTING CONDITION THAT WAS ALSO CONFIRMED BY OUR DOCTOR WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE AT THE STANDARDS DEPT AT DISCOVERY TAKING SO LONG FOR. </p>
