Threatened to be taken toTransUnion credit bureau for amount that has already been paid months agao - fix your sytem!

I left the Discovery Medical Aid scheme at the end of April. In June, I received an email stating that I owe the scheme R5600. I paid the R5600, and followed the steps as stated in the email of putting your medical aid number as a reference and emailing the proof of payment to ***.

Since then, I have received emails every month, asking for the money to be paid. I have rep**** to the "no-reply" email by using the email address given in that same email, numerous times. Tonight, I received an email again stating this: We hereby inform you that if we do not receive payment of the outstanding amount within 20 business days from this letter, it is our intention, in terms of Regulation 19(4) of the Regulations to the National Credit Act 34 of 2005, to list an adverse record against you at the TransUnion credit bureau.

How is this fair? I have paid the amount, and sent the proof of payment numerous times. I cannot help if your system is broken.

The "get help" button in the same email is not helpful at all. It takes me to the sign-in page, and send an OTP to a number no longer in use, with no option of sending the OTP to my email address that is on your system.

To be reported to the credit bureau and to get a bad credit score over something that has been PAID...is unacceptable.

I will be closing both my cards that I have with Discovery, and my incoming pension money will be paid elsewhere.

Super unhappy as I've been a loyal customer for many many years!

Absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful.
