they refuse to change my invome bracket
I have been a Discovery client for many many years. I am on the key care plus plan.

I lost my job in January and have since then not had ANY income. Now they refuse to change my invome bracket as they day I recieve more than R360 p/m in my account. I have recieved payment from my previous employer ( unfair dismissal) more than two months ago and now they say I recieved more than the amount above.

They do not want to lower my income bracket, but I also need to pay my medival aid. So I ask my mom to put money in my acvount so that I can pay my medical aid. THAT IS NOT AN INCOME AT ALL. THAT IS SPUNGING OFF OF SOMEONE ELSE. NOT AN INCOME!!!

How do they expect me to pay their rates if there is no money in my account?

Thank you for your comment.
I tried contacting you however, you were not available to take my call. I investigated your query and confirmed that the premium on your chosen plan type is determined by your income. This is based on the contributions on different levels of members' income. This is to ensure the affordability and sustainability of these health plans, for both our members and the Scheme.
For this reason your income category is correct and allocated according to your supporting documents provided. I confirmed the details via email.
I am truly sorry that I cannot offer you a different outcome to your query and hope that my email helps clarify your concerns.
