THEY ACTIVELY SEEK REASONS NOT TO PAY!

I have been taking chronic medication for years, which I have been paying myself only to find out that this medication is a Prescribed Minimum Benefit. When I app**** to have this paid by the medical aid, they refused on the basis that I am not 'risky enough' to pay for.

I can't believe that such a policy is even legal, considering that the medication is a prescribed minimum benefit and it has been prescribed by my doctors! I challenged the decision only to get no response at all and now, Discovery Health is avoiding me like the plague!

They ACTIVELY seek reasons not to pay any valid claims and its infuriating to see that they actually get away with practices such as these. If it were not for the fact that I was forced to have Discovery Health I would be leaving right away.

I do not recommend Discovery Health for any persons with chronic illnesses because they will shy away from their responsibilities.

What's worse, my family members have the same conditions but theirs are paid! How can they allow my family member's conditions to be paid by disallow mine? For the same ailment?!?!

Shocking to say the least. ************* bunch.
