the cover

Highly frustrated as I have sent two emails and received no response, firstly I had got prescription glasses on your cover it says if they are linked to discovery you get 20% discount I never got that, secondly they say that you get two free casualty visits for kids under 10 years my son is 3 was running temperatures that I couldn't break took him in too casualty as it is a emergency as my child could get seizures and yet discovery isn't covering it then thirdly I was admitted into hospital and the doctor required follow up two blood tests that aren't expensive I received a bill for that queried it to be told it's not covered, they say that my day to day funds are depleted, but this is a out of hospital cover to be told I'm already discharged, so then what is out of hospital cover if this is related to being admitted into hospital. After sending two emails and not getting a response at least with putting this on hello Peter I might get a response...

Hello lizettebotha,

Thank you for your comment.

We have an arrangement with certain optometrists at which you will qualify to receive a 20% discount should you purchase glasses from them. You can find a list of these providers on our website at www.discovery.co.za.

The two free casualty visits is a benefit enhancement that will only take effect from 1 January 2016. We await the information requested to assist you further.

We've confirmed that the blood tests were reviewed and approved to be covered as it was related to a Prescribed Minimum Benefit. We have already requested an amended invoice from the pathologist and await this to assist further.

Regards
Annelize
