TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED

Tuesday 16/07/2024 I sent a REQUEST AND MOTIVATION FORM from my husband's Specialist for an ultrasound to Discovery for authorisation. I received an email back with a reference number saying it will take 3 - 3 working days. By Friday 19/07/2024 my husband had still not heard from them. I sent an email on my husband's behalf once again to escalations and got an email with a reference number again and going on about a consent forms and confidentiality. I was NOT querying anything and was only following up. On Sunday my husband completed the consent form and submitted it. Monday 23/07/2024 I tried following up once again on his behalf only to receive a reference number and going about this consent form. Wednesday 24/07/2024 day 8 my husband phoned them and spoke to someone who was going to look into it and get back to him today Thursday 25/07/2024 day 9. Today has come and gone and they never got back to him. Everyone keeps asking me how my husband is doing and I tell them that he is still waiting for authorisation. They cannot believe it and I get told "my medical aid let's me know the same day or the very next day". So now you please tell me is this consent forms more important than someone's health / life.
