Terrible service

I joined Discovery in April and had a waiting period of 12 months for a pre-existing condition of anxiety- panick attacks experienced after my brothers death.<br> <br> Each claim I have submitted through to Discovery has been declined for the reason of 'PREEXISTING CONDITION WAITING PERIOD'.<br> <br> I went to see my GP for a consultation and got a pregnancy test done (which came out positive). Discovery refused to pay as this was apparently 'related to my pre-existing condition of ANXIETY'.<br> <br> I went to see a neurologist because I was getting headaches, linked to the pregnancy and got declined as this was 'related to my pre-existing condition of ANXIETY.'<br> <br> I went to my obstetrician for a SONAR to see the baby's development and this was declined as this was 'related to my pre-existing condition of ANXIETY,' and was further advised to tell my Obstetrician to write a motivation as to explain that the SONAR is not related to anxiety.<br> <br> Im very upset at this because it is highly inconveniencing me and the reason I joined Discovery is for the convenience of healthcare that was sold to me. I would please like this matter to be actioned by management.
