Termination of Medical Aid without Notice

I received a letter from Discovery Health that my medical aid was terminated.<br> <br> I phoned and they advised they did not pick up my payment. So without notification or anything, they terminated my membership. I pay R4,600 per month!!<br> <br> What if I was in a car accident?? Or something serious happened? Then I had to suffer because of an error that Discovery has made.<br> <br> I never in almost 10 years had any complaints with regard to my medical aid. How many other members' get terminated because of this error? Not picking up a payment<br> <br> Then, I phoned in, and spoke to a very helpful lady named Veronica, she informed me that I also pay for example on the 15th of October, for September? How is this possible? I've never received ANY notification that I'm in arrears. Or is this also an error made by Discovery's credit control department?? I checked my bank accounts for the past 3 years, and can't find any missed payments.<br> <br> I've sent them proof of payment 5 days ago already....NO reply.
