Taken for a ride by Discovery

So this seems to be the only way i get a response from discovery. After struggling with the set back of covid i had to cancel my medical aid for 3 months. When i decided to activate again i was told i need to start from the beginning, so i did. I disclosed i had tested high for cholesterol but never been treated, shocker i was placed on hold for a year due to this. Fine, so i had my 3 months period where i was on hold, and when i went to the doc for tummy issues, i was told my claim was denied due to me being on hold.. i had to phone and explain my 3 month waiting period was told oh im on waiting period for a year, i explained it is for cholesterol and depression. Not normal doc visits, so they paid. Every time i went to the doc this kept happening... why not check and see that it has nothing to do with my holding condition. This was the start of my problems... i was placed in hospital due to almost having a car accident, sugar dropped and i was not feeling well. medical finally gave a auth no so i stayed, when i finally went home i was told Med has not approved this. This is where my nightmare has started, every call for the past 3 months, i get told im on hold for a year, yes i know for other conditions, not this!! Again they say, they need a letter from my doc to say i was never treated for sugar in the past and i didnt lie on my application. Doc sent it, again i was told wait 7 days. I phone again, again you are on hold.. I explain again, again, its under investigation.. 3 months this has been going on. now i have been over to debt collect, i explain they are still investigating, she phoned and here she gets told. No, im on hold till NOV. What is going on??? Please, i so sick of this going around in circles, this first year of being a member again has been nothing more then a nightmare. Now as my medical condition, which i have been diagnosed for, my anxieties and stress has taken a toll on me, as this is effecting me. Discovery is causing me pain and suffering. Worst is there is no one to speak to, as my disorder can not tolerate speaking to another clueless consultant. You have no offices here in EL where i can go to and get this sorted. Yet, after 4 months you wont pay, as you dont deal with claims after this time. Funny hey, sounds more like a stalling tack here. I know if we go the legal route, that i will win, you are in the wrong. and i will claim for my suffering too!! So disappointed in discovery, you have become the worst medical aid i have ever had to deal with!!
