T21 Chromosome Test Refused under Maternity Benefits

I undertook the T21 Chromosome test at an Ampath Laboratory on the 3rd of November 2020 and during this period, my Maternity Benefits were activated.

I have now received statements from Ampath saying Discovery does not cover this test. However, on your 'Cover for Pregnancy and Childbirth 2020 brochure', it clearly states: 'We pay for Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT) screening or T21 Chromosome Test from the Maternity Benefit up to 100% of the Discovery Health Rate if you use of one of our preferred providers: Next Biosciences, Ampath Laboratories or Lancet Laboratories.' I need urgent answers as to why Discovery Health is refusing my claim?
