Sxan required for appendics bot paying
I might have appendicitis but my STUPID medical wont pay because I wasnt refered by a specialist BUT I was refered by Casualty AT hospital!!! What is the point of having medical aid if you have to pay for everything 99% of the time!!!!!!

When you visit a Casualty unit on your chosen plan type and the attending GP refers you for a scan, it will be subject to a list of scans. If the attending provider is a specialist and requests for the scan then the formulary would not apply. I have sent you an email following our discussion and hope that this will be of assistance.
