Stop hiding behind T&C's and make a difference in people's lives

I am disappointed to say the least with discovery always hiding behind their terms and conditions. I would like to meet whoever the review panel consists of and they should tell it to my face that the pain I have been experiencing most of my adult life is not considered as an emergency but a cosmetic issue. I have a serious case of bunions which is affecting me badly and in my line of work I have to be constantly standing and I have been to the doctor several times for pain medication and to get a referral for an orthopedic to assess my issue and he has confirmed that unless I do surgery I will forever be in pain. I am on a key care plus plan which allows me to see a specialist but that's where the buck stops as far as discovery is concerned. I am booked for surgery on the 14th November 2019 and I was so relieved only to discover that discovery rejected my pre hospital authorization. I am left with no options whereas I have a medical aid and if I hear someone else from discovery tell me that isn't covered in your plan I will lose it.
