Its a medical aid that has lost all sense of compassion for helping people with their medical problems. They are not a medical aid, but rather a medical money taker. My family has been with them for over 15 years, being loyal and paying our premiums, but now my elderly, retired mother in law is on Discovery key care, has a life threatening growth in her sinus between her eye and touching her brain and they refuse to approve surgery for her. The Discovery approved specialist has sent numerous motivations for the operation, even a well know doctor in our city has phoned Discovery to try get approval, but they point blank refuse. It's actually disgusting. I bet the CEO of Discovery would not have any problem getting approval if he was in the same situation. Discovery, I have lost all confidence in your way of a supposed medical aid. You can't call Discovery a medical aid. There is no aid or insurance in you medical plans.
