Steer lclear of Discovery Health - premium increase problems
I already placed a complaint via HelloPeter on 1 December 2023 regarding Discovery's ******* deduction of January 2024 premium from my account since May 2023! You PRETNDED to respond by replying that I should look in my emails. I have received nothing from you in my emails regarding this matter. I repeat - Discovery has already been charging me 2024 premium from May 2023. I just received another SMS today telling me that from January 2024 you will be charging me the new 2024 premium. The SAME ONE I have been paying since May 2023. Please stop pretending that you have rep**** to this complaint and refund the R820 which you have been over-charging me since May 2023. I REQUIRE A RESPONSE ON THIS PUBLIC PLATFORM = not in my private emails. The public is entitled to know why Discovery finds it so hard to deal with a simple matter as overcharging.

Can you please tell me then why your system is automatically spewing forth Whatsapp messages this week saying "your medical aid contribution is CHANGING to ..... and will be debited on 2 January " ??? Please get your system right and send APPROPRIATE messages to your clients as well as your letters in October which said that my contribution was changing to the contribution I am already paying! I repeat- changing. Incompetence abounds once more.
