Stay away from Discovery

Absolutely ridiculous and pathetic. All I can say is stay away from Discovery. Expensive and bad. The whole system is completely opaque and nobody actually knows about it. Affinity Health is by far the best health insurance company I have ever used! I pay R1847 and for the same coverage discovery charges OUTRAGEOUS R4500 which is no better and the phone service is a *******. My husband wanted to convince me that I should switch to his health insurance, he is with Discovery, I was in a 1 1/2 hour conversation and after all private details were asked and I was first assured of a monthly contribution of 3100, it was said after 90 minutes all of a sudden it would be 4500 monthly. I call that bull****. I've been with Affinity Health for over 2 years and have never been dissatisfied, the only drawback is that you always need authorization before you can go to the doctor or the hospital. But you can do that via WhatsApp and it's uncomplicated. Affinity is honest and reliable. So stay away from Discovery Health, it's just expensive and has NO ADVANTAGES. Better save the money for something useful.
