Speedy assistance, even if not the outcome I was hoping for.

I recently contacted Discovery to find out if they would fund the Breast Reduction procedure.

I would like to applaud Discovery on the amazingly speedy service that I received. Even though I did not get the response I was hoping for, I would still like to make it known that they were prompt and extremely helpful. I was contacted exactly one day after I sent a mail to Discovery asking if they cover this procedure, via email they informed me that Discovery do not fund this procedure as it is seen as cosmetics. I accepted this, and decided to move on with my life. But the very next morning a gentleman called me and explained very patiently why Discovery does not fund this procedure, and that he came across my letter to Discovery and wanted to try and help me with this procedure. He told me not to get my hopes up, that he can only try to help, and can't make any promises. He informed me to get a Doctors Letter to motivate my situation, pictures of my body as well as type my own application letter, motivating my reasons for needing this procedure. I did all of this and sent it through to the email address he told me to use. I thought this would probably take at least a week before I get any kind of action on this application for funding. I sent the mail on Friday, and Monday morning I was contacted by another very kind gentleman who informed me that they have reviewed my application but unfortunately they cannot fund my procedure, as I am on the KeyCare Plus plan, which is the lowest plan and they cannot assist me on this plan.

Even though this was not the outcome that I expected, I am so grateful for the AMAZING service that I received from Discovery, and would like to applaud everyone who assisted me with their patience and understanding. Even though I would greatly benefit from having this Breast Reduction Procedure, as it is giving me all sorts of problems (Back, neck, pinched nerves) I understand their reasoning and will not break them down for that.

I came here to read other peoples reviews and see what theirs outcome was, and was very shocked at the terrible reviews I see.

I do not want to be one of these people moaning and groaning about Discovery that would not help them with their Breast Reduction Procedures. It is terribly bad news and has put me in quite a depression if I have to be honest about it, but it is something I will have to live with ****erally).
