so much red tape cost the member

<p>discovery healthhas so much protocols and authorization procedures one could swear that they are just happy not to pay a claim. my mum visited a hjr colyn as part of the concerned pmb condition she is allowed 2 specialist visits how ever they say she has reach her limit and that they not paying payning yet i have called the scheme before visiting they dr. now what must the meber do go to to the dr plead and beg saying that i am sorting it out with my scheme but the dr want the money and the member cannot pay.discovery does not include the list of claim summary when emailing you the claim summary. as a member i feel that i have a full time adminstration job just dealing with my medical aid. my mum sent in a pmb request form for a different condition they decline it and request a report which we have attached to the application again i have to go back to the dr they say they sent communication to the dr when i called the dr they say there was emailed that came in the mean time the member must pay for medication to treat the condition dr are busy why not sent all communication to the member who can then take it to the dr. all dr are very busy and when you go to them with a heap of paper work they not very keen on helping u and even if they claim discovery will not pay. the endless paper work. i know the choosen plan is not the top of the range but really just get to the damnpoint of fixing a mess. my frustration in over cooking. </p>
