So much for Discovery Health covering blood tests to confirm pregnancy

Discovery Health claims to cover the blood test to confirm pregnancy (qualitative bHCG) under their maternity benefit. However, there is a caveat in that you need to activate your maternity benefit before you have the test to confirm pregnancy.

This simply defies logic; in what world would you activate your maternity benefit before knowing that you are pregnant? Only Discovery Health could be this pathetic.
