Smartplan a DISASTER

I converted to SMARTPLAN. This has been a comedy of errors since day 1 (1 January 2016)
1. On 4 January I was still on my old option. I had to complain to my personnel department. They had to intervene.
2. I checked the number of dr's in Sandton on SMARTPLAN. There were 5. And that includes Fourways and Lonehill. My own GP requested to see a rep in 2015 to be briefed re SMARTPLAN. They were still awaiting a response 2 days ago after numerous approaches to Discovery. I even asked on their behalf. To no avail.
3. My wife went to see the GP this morning with my 3 year old son, suffering from Gastro. We requested drugs available on Smartplan to qualify for the R 10 copay.
4. The list the dr had was not up date. How can a pro-biotic not be covered on Prescription? He said Kantrexil was covered. The pharmacy said no it wasn't. Its a disaster.
5. Since then I gained access to some internal memos from Discovery to Dischem. As a registered pharmacist I am shocked to see what is covered on that list. The list might as well have been compiled 40 years ago. Its a disgrace. Dischem only received an abbreviated list AFTER implementation..etc etc etc.....no more space available. THEREISMORE
