Smart Plans - Airy fairy and MISLEADING

I am on the Classic smart plan for discovery. I app**** for the out of hospital benefit for my psychologist and psychiatrist, both were approved. Since Discovery only sells you this wonderful product but fail to tell you about all the snags and clauses (Like you get 1 dentist visit, but when you claim they only pay R120 of a R1000 bill because in some very well hidden document they said they only pay a certain amount for a certain part of the bill) I called them and SPECIFICALLY asked if I get 15 sessions for both or 15 each. They said 15 each. Now that I have reached the 15 for both cap (thinking I still have the other 15 left) they didn't even cover the full 15 sessions, because now there are clinical points that limit the funding as well, but not even the consultants can tell me why or how it is calculated. They listened to the phone call and just said "Sorry, you were incorrectly informed, we can't pay anything more, you can re-apply next year".

There is absolutely NO TRANSPARENCY. They sell you this wonderful product that fails you around every corner and you only get to learn that after you have to pay the bill yourself. This has got to be the worst medical aid I have ever been on.
