Smart essential plan

Every single prescription I have ever received from a smart network recommended doctor with a co payment of R100-00 I have paid for. So basically I pay R100 to see Dr. plus I pay for my medication. So I though maybe Im not doing something correctly. I enlisted clicks pharmacy as my preferred pharmacy, hoping this might change things, but nothing. I was prescribed trepiline, which can be an anti-depressants, medical aid reject claim. I thought may because pills may be for chronic diseases, so I ignored this. However, this weekend I was prescribed antibiotics, and to my surprise, claim was rejected. In addition to that if I take a urine test I pay for that, if I get an injection I pay for that. I have never complained. This weekend I had to go to the emergency room at a network hospital, to my surprise the medical aid contributed nothing toward the doctors bill. What am I paying for?
