Sick and waiting for medical attention - but authorisations is taking longer than 48 hours!!!

<p>I am furious with the level of service I am receiving from Discovery!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been suffering with chest pains from Tuesday and left work to go see a Doctor.My Doctor then referred me to hospital only to find I need authorisation.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was told this will take 16 hours to get authorisation as a form is needed to be completed to ensure this is not a pre existing conditions I am suffering from.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have never had chest pains before!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I am sitting a home helpless and off from work this passed days.It has now been over 48 hours and I still have not recieved authorisation...</p> <p> </p> <p>Is this going to happen for ever medical emergency?</p> <p> </p> <p>This is pathetic!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>We join medical aid to avoid hassles government hospitals give us.</p> <p> </p> <p>We pay for a service we should be receiving without going through any trouble like this!!!</p> <p> </p>
