Shocking Service & No Responsibility Taken
No responsibility taken by Discovery to sort out unpaid claims from service providers. They claim that information is outstanding to pay the claims, but no one from Discovery is willing to take the responsibility of acquiring the outstanding information. Only paying R 1000 of a R 9000 claim, and the best answer I can get is, "Sorry". Why do I pay R5k+ per month for a medical aid....?

Even with a letter from the medical professional advising that it was necessary for my wife to stay in hospital longer than the initial authorization, they are sticking with "normal operating procedures" and is unwilling to look at the individual case on its merit. Disappointed and unsure why one spend thousands on medical aid every month...
