Shocking Service!!!

The request has been reviewed according to the rules of the Discovery Health Medical Scheme. We regret to inform you that we have declined the request to waive the scope co-payment applicable to the admission because a PMB condition was not confirmed and there was no evidence of ulcerative colitis confirmed by the scope report.

That is a response from Discovery. My son has Ulcerative Colitis. The only way to monitor this potentially life threatening disease is by doing a scope, which is covered under the basket of care. Discovery have approved his further treatment for 2020 for Ulcerative Colitis confirming he does indeed have the disease but this is the response I get. They have been shunting us from pillar to post for almost three months now. The last code we were given by a Discovery representative dosen't even exist. Is it their hope that they eventually exhaust you and you go away. The continual administrative road blocks would cer*****y suggest this! I have exhausted every avenue prior to posting this! Get your act together Discovery!!!
