Shocking experience when trying to claim from Discovery Medical Savings!!!

Shocking experience when trying to claim from Discovery Medical Savings!!! On the 19th of July I contacted Discovery Health Call center to find out what Child care monitoring devices I was covered for on my plan. I was advised that my specific plan did not offer monitoring devices as a maternity benefit but that I had more than enough medical savings to purchase a registered device and claim from Medical Savings. I was advised that all I needed to do was purchase a registered device from a registered provider (Dischem or Clicks), and provide them (Discovery) with the proof of purchase and the Nappi code. I contacted Angelcare (the Brand of monitor sold at the registered provider I would be visiting (Dischem) and am told that there are only two devices that are registered with Medical Aids, one of which is the AC 127. Off I go to Dischem (Discovery's registered provider), I find the Angelcare AC 127 Device I am looking for and take it to the pharmacy counter to obtain the Nappi code. The pharmacists scan the device and advise that they do not have the Nappi code and that I would need to contact AngelCare for the device details / Nappi code. I purchase the device, retain the slip, contact AngelCare when I get home and they provide me with the Nappi code and diagnostic code. On the 4th of August I submitted the receipt along with the Nappi code and other information required by Discovery (as advised in my conversation with the Discovery consultant on the 19th of July) via the email claims process. When I had not heard anything back from Discovery, I re-submitted the claim on the 11th of August. When I had STILL not heard anything back from Discovery, I contacted the Discovery call center on the 17th of August and on the 4th phone call attempt, I am advised that the claim will NOT be paid as the Nappi code does not reflect on the receipt. I explained that I had requested the Nappi code from their registered provider (Dischem) and that Dischem had advised that they did not have the Nappi code. I also explained that I had contacted the Discovery call center BEFORE purchasing the device and was NOT told that I need a tax invoice reflecting the Nappi code - only that I would need A Nappi code and proof of purchase from a registered provider (WHICH I HAD SUPP****). This honestly just feels like ANOTHER attempt for Discovery to not let me utilise my EXTENSIVE Medical Savings. Now at 8.75 months pregnant I now need to take the device and receipt BACK to Dischem and re-ask them for an invoice reflecting a code THEY ALREADY TOLD ME THEY DON'T HAVE in order to meet Discovery's ever-changing requirements. Shocking to say the least.
